Woodlawn Participates at the Northwest Georgia Choral Festival

Five sixth grade students from Woodlawn Elementary (WES) had the privilege to represent the WES Chorus at the Northwest Georgia Choral Festival. The event was hosted by Shorter University, GA on October 16, 2017.  Their guest conductor was Dr. John Simmons who is currently a Professor of Music at Azusa Pacific University in California.  They performed in a concert including a 4th-6th grade Treble Choir, High School Choir, University Men’s Choir, University Women’s Choir, and University Mixed Choir.  The students that represented Woodlawn are Stephanie Hurtado, Avery Rice, Journee Shropshire, Ciara Snyder, & Emily Torres.
