Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart

Woodlawn Elementary recently held a Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart event in Physical Education class during the week of January 29th- Feb. 2nd. The students’ fundraising efforts this year went well above previous years as the school raised $2803.00 for the American Heart Association. Harlan Epperson of Mrs. Baldridge’s first grade class was awarded the top fundraiser medal with a total of $291.00. Other top fundraisers were Jada Davis, Griffin Flood, Evan Otts, Owen Otts, Ethan Parrett, Jocelyn Morales, Lucas Smith, Nicole Martin, Brody Headrick, Brayden Green, Bentley Ramirez, Ayden Stafford, Zoe Bynum, Jorge Ramero, Brinlee Robinette, Matthew Hernandez, Logan Shelby, Sarabeth Nash, and Austynn Smith.

Mrs. Robinson’s third grade class raised the most money and accepted the most online challenges of all homerooms in the school. As a reward for their efforts, the American Heart Association awarded them a variety of playground equipment. Many thanks to all the students and parents who worked so hard to make this year’s event a huge success!
