Hello!  My name is Michelle Coffelt and I have been teaching Kindergarten since 2001.  I am a native of Murray County and can't imagine living anywhere else! I received a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of West Georgia, and a Master's degree and Specialist degree in Administration and Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.

I have been married to my husband, Wayne, for 28 years. We have a son, Brandon,  a daughter Brooke, who attends The University of Georgia (GO DAWGS!), and 2 granddaughters, McKenlie and Kensington.  Needless to say, we are very busy!!

Besides teaching and being with my family, I enjoy scrapbooking! I take way too many pictures (according to my husband) and enjoy scrapbooking them. I also take LOTS and LOTS of pictures in my classroom. I enjoy making each of my students a scrapbook that I hope they will treasure for years to come.

I truly LOVE my job! I love each of my students and enjoy seeing them learn and grow as the year progresses. I can not imagine doing any other profession.
